About
Oaken Antler Games is the work of Justin, a software engineer in the American Midwest.
I have spent my career building software, and I make games for the same reason I spend my weekends outside with my family: because it is good to make a thing slowly and well, and better to share it afterwards.
The studio is one person. That is a constraint, and it is also the point. It means the games are small, warm and finished rather than large, loud and endless — the sort of thing you can pick up for ten minutes on a porch and put down without losing anything.
The mark is a shed antler with oak growing through it. An antler is dropped every year and grown again; oak takes its time. Both seemed like the right idea to build a studio on.

Royal Court
In early production
A solitaire-style card game set in a medieval kingdom, where balance and cleverness are what keep the court standing.
Every card you play tips the kingdom one way or another. Playing well is not about clearing the table quickly — it is about reading what the court needs next and holding the whole thing in equilibrium a little longer than you thought you could. Easy to learn in a minute, and stubborn in the best way after that.
Store links will appear here at launch. Until then, the fastest way to hear about it is to write in.

To get to an answer faster, it helps to include:

- The game version, shown on the title screen.
- What you were doing when it went wrong, and what you expected instead.
- A screenshot or short screen recording, if you can capture one.
